Mission Statement The mission of Nebraska Association of Special Education Supervisors (NASES) is to promote quality educational practices by providing visionary leadership, services, and support for its membership.

Is one of 6 affiliate organizations of the parent organization NCSA.
Members from other affiliates can attend NASES events and receive information from NASES if requested.
3 members from NASES Exec Board sit on the NCSA Exec .Board.
Leadership for NASES is provided by the NASES Exec Board.

NASES Exec Board meets at least 5 times per year.
NASES has 3 meetings per year that provide updated staff development.
Two of these meetings are in collaboration with the Nebraska Department of Education Special Population’s Office.
One meeting is a Legislative Conference where part of the meeting is spent discussing issues with Senators from Nebraska’s Unicameral.

Membership is divided into 5 regions.
Each region meets at least 3 times per year if not more.
Members can attend meetings for a different region if necessary.
NASES does provide funding to help support region meetings.

NASES provides a link to the Nebraska Department of Education Special Population’s Office.
Two meetings per year are done in collaboration with NDE.
The 3 officers of NASES have liaison meetings with NDE staff 3 times per year to stay updated, discuss concerns, and plan for upcoming events.
NASES provides a link to our national affiliate CASE (Council of Administrators of Special Education).
